Authentication Information: Your phone number and OTP details during login and verification.
Account Information: Your name, service location (Village ID), and subscription plan.
Payment Information: We keep a record of your payment history, amounts, and dates (transactions are processed by third-party gateways).
Device and Usage Information: We log data usage (MBs consumed), network sessions, and connection statuses to manage bandwidth and billing.

2. Why We Collect Data

Your data is collected strictly for the operation of the Rural Connect network, including:

Providing internet access and authenticating your devices via our hotspots.
Processing payments and managing your subscription validity.
Providing customer support and responding to your tickets.
Monitoring network health and preventing fraudulent usage.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We only share necessary data with trusted third parties for specific service functionalities (e.g., payment gateways to process transactions, or SMS providers to send OTPs).

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account and usage data as long as your account is active. You have the right to request the deletion of your account at any time through the Rural Connect app or our Account Deletion page.

Upon deletion, we will revoke all access tokens and anonymize your personally identifiable information (PII). However, basic financial transaction records may be retained in an anonymized format for legal and accounting compliance.
